Using AI to Get Unstuck
There is a place for some of these tools to help us as we are generating ideas and seeking to serve our specific audience the best way that we can. Welcome to the message connection, a podcast dedicated to exploring all the angles that it takes to get your message to the masses. I'm your host, Azurae Phelps, and with over twenty years of experience in the world of production, I've seen behind the scenes of everything from recording studios to the Super Bowl halftime show and everything in between. Week after week, we will dig in to the medium of podcasting as well as host conversations with entrepreneurs, business owners, coaches, artists, creatives, educators, and more to see how they got to the heart of their message and what it took to get them to the place where they were ready to share it. Let's get into it.
Azurae:Welcome back to the message connection. I'm Azurae. So glad you're here. This week, I wanna dive into AI and authenticity. Alright.
Azurae:How many of you are taking the deep dive on ChatGPT and all things AI? If you are, you're smart to do it because dang if these tools are not getting really intelligent. If you are, then you're already seeing how leveraged you can be in interacting with some of these tools to bring out the best of what you have to offer. Now I am very, my kids would say, sus when it comes to some of these AI tools because it freaks me out a little bit. I'm not gonna lie.
Azurae:I would like for all of us to really be, like, kicking it in the nineties. That was the golden era as far as I'm concerned. But then we wouldn't be able to hang out. Right? Because none of this technology would exist for us to be able to connect.
Azurae:That being said, there is a place for some of these tools to help us as we are generating ideas and seeking to serve our specific audience the best way that we can. It's even just fun as an opportunity to bat ideas around that you might be figuring out. I have a friend who's working on some specific health goals, and she asked ChatGPT to basically make a meal plan for her as well as a shopping list so that she could eat a certain way during her week. I mean, that's a that's a life hack right there for sure. So when it comes to your podcast and using ChatGPT to generate ideas or titles or SEO, it is definitely a way that you can be equipped to keep it moving, baby, and to not get too bogged down.
Azurae:Sometimes what I have found is by entering in a prompt to chat GPT, the best way for it to work for you is to be sure that you are honing in with specific feedback. What I like to do is if I'm finding myself stuck, what like, what are my ideal clients searching for? What kind of information are they looking for? Then I'll start to engage in a chat with ChatGPT to see if I can get some clarity on it. Again, this usually just helps me if I'm feeling stuck in the cul de sac of my own mind.
Azurae:How many of you have ever been stuck in a cul de sac of mental churn when you're trying to create content or record a podcast, show up on YouTube, you're circling, circling, circling, thinking you had something great to say and then realizing maybe this isn't actually very helpful at all. We've all been there. So chat GPT can sometimes just bring clarity, help you get to your certain points that you want to address, and then you can expound on them with personal anecdotes and stories to draw your audience in more deeply. Remember, I'm not here to tell you that I want you to replace yourself with AI. In fact, I think that in the world of AI, what's going to happen is that more and more our authentic voices need to be heard.
Azurae:So part of my fear with AI is, wait a second. I mean, are we all just going to end up saying the same watered down stuff? When does anybody have their own opinions that if everyone's searching the same database of information, what's going to happen? And the truth is I don't think we really know quite yet. I'm excited to keep learning, and in particular, I want to address the the messaging angle and making sure that you are staying unique to who you are so that your audience can connect directly with an actual real person.
Azurae:And the way we do that is to get really clear on who we are and what we have to bring to the world. If you're finding yourself stuck there, that's not something ChatGPT is going to help you do. I I think maybe you get unstuck, but the deeper work is to dig in. Dig into your story, to dig into the message of your business and what sets you apart. This can happen in real rooms with other people.
Azurae:It can happen in coaching and counseling. It can happen in with a group of entrepreneurs who are working on that as well. But the feedback from real humans is going to help you get unstuck. So ChatGPT is amazing to generate content ideas. But if you're actually operating in a business where you interact with real humans, one of the best things that you can possibly do is to create a Zoom room party pop up kind of hang where you're just asking your community what they actually need.
Azurae:Now this is a really cool tool, really cool way to essentially think of, like, your actual humans as your version of chat GPT. Just be vulnerable and say, hey, I'm building this new thing. I would love your feedback. I'd love to know where you're at. Are you ready to buy a home?
Azurae:Are you ready to renovate your basement? Are you ready to work on your diet? Are you ready to figure out how to leverage your investments? Are you in that season? And what real humans can do is connect you to actual other real humans who may need what you have to offer.
Azurae:So again, whether that's a workout plan or an investment strategy or a media package that you need to pursue or marketing tips or whatever your lane of business is, when we're in the room with real humans or making actual connections that can lead to the ripple effect of the expansion of our business and our actual selves. This is where you can't replace human interaction with chat GBT or AI quite yet. My friend Stacy Lauren has an incredible tool that she uses called My People Parties. It sounds like a little bit of a mouthful, but let me just explain it to you. Basically, it's just a get together with people who are interested in a similar thing to talk and hang out and explore an idea.
Azurae:If you are a business owner and you are trying to figure out how to crack the code on some of these things and ChatGPT has given you all the answers already, but you recognize that you actually need to dial in with real people, let me encourage you to host a my people party. Get yourself in a room with some other real humans. Ask for feedback on your business or your idea, even if it's just a creative pursuit. Get connected with others because what you find in the power of community is that they will connect you with other people that you need in order to bring your vision to the world. So don't sleep on this.
Azurae:Yeah. Okay. Let's go use AI to a certain point, but then let's take that intel to a real room with real people and create something magical that can still only exist when we authentically show up with one another and share our genius and get that feedback in real time. That's where the real beautiful magic happens. Alright.
